Javier Escorihuela
Less hype, more value.
Technology and design, with judgement.
Architect by training, founder of Isostopy and professor at IED Madrid. For more than ten years I’ve been turning new technologies into experiences people understand and businesses benefit from.
01About
It’s all about design
I trained as an architect, and it left me with a habit: always starting with the people who will use what I design.
Today I bring that mindset to technology: virtual environments where people can learn without risk, AI tools people actually want to use, and innovation with tangible results. I work with extended reality and artificial intelligence, but technology is never the goal: what matters is what it’s for.

02Speaker
I talk about what works… and what doesn’t.
Talks about what emerging technologies are actually changing, and how to make the most of it. With cases, with data, without rose-tinted glasses.
For leadership teams, industry events, schools and teams who have to decide. In Spanish and English.
XR in industry and heritage: successes and failures, what works and how to measure it.
Telling hype from value, and deciding where to invest time and resources.
How to get your mum (and your company) to understand AI, and what design brings to it.
What architecture and design can teach technology.
03Isostopy
I founded Isostopy in 2016
To take immersive technology from prototype to real operations, in sectors where error is not an option. Today we build simulations for Airbus, Westinghouse, Inditex and Telefónica, and more and more projects where extended reality and AI work together.

04Teaching
I teach to learn
I have taught at IED Madrid since 2015, and I have brought courses, masterclasses and workshops to schools, universities and training centres. The classroom forces me to explain complex things simply, and every year it shows me how technology is used by people who come to it without preconceptions.
